Like most first time buyers we had a tight budget, specific demands and a particular neighborhood we wanted to be in. When I found out I was pregnant we put house hunting on hold to be able to enjoy our time together, however, right around my son's first birthday we saw a sign for an open house on a particular block we fell in love with long ago and since the market was beginning to bounce back we really wanted to make sure we got into what could potentially be our forever home before it became out of our reach again. We walked in and were greeted warmly by Kim. She was very kind and didn't put any pressure on us as we wandered around the property with our son. When we left we knew this was our home. I contacted Kim later that evening to ask if she wouldn't mind letting us take a quick peek again with my father. She obliged. My father showed up with us to thoroughly inspect the property and as he was doing so the rest of my family who had caught wind of our rendezvous showed up as well. Kim answered the barrage of questions everyone threw at her professionally and honestly. We left yet again, but this time with my father's blessing. When we got home we decided what our next move should be and although many say it is ill advised we decided to ask Kim who was acting as the seller's agent to represent us as buyers as well. I must say I am very glad we did! We had no problem quickly reaching an tentative agreement that worked well for both parties. I say tentative because Kim knew we still hadn't figured out how we were going to break our lease. She gave us some valuable advice and we met with our landlord. We were going to be able to get out, but it was going to cost us more than we had ready. Kim approached the seller to come up with a solution and they did far better than anything I could have ever expected! Within less than a month from when we first set foot in our home to be we had come to an agreement well below appraisal and were moving our first boxes in just in time for the holidays. Kim is knowledgeable, professional, low pressure and swift where and when it counts. She also has a knack for details! In addition to staying on top of all the little things necessary to close quickly she had my son's favorite snack awaiting him on moving day. Todd & Valerie Cannon  N/A
